Sabrina Shivar is dedicated to advocacy and service, in her community and beyond. Sabrina is the founder of Our Haven of Hope, a nonprofit organization that aims to provide recreational and social opportunities for children with various ability levels. Sabrina is the Leader and Facilitator for the Autism Society of North Carolina Wayne County Chapter. Sabrina also volunteers as the treasurer for A Woman A Wife A Mother Ministries, a nonprofit organization that educates and empowers women to be their best selves. Sabrina served in the United States Army for eight years.
Sabrina has worked to establish inclusion for children on the autism spectrum, while servicing with AmeriCorps, at Boys and Girls Club of America. Sabrina later went on to work in various school settings as a teacher assistant, continuing to work with the special needs population. Sabrina has experience as a Behavioral therapist with Butterfly Effects.
Sabrina holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Science from Troy University, a Master of Arts in Human Services, and a Masters level Certification in Autism Education, both from Liberty University.
Sabrina's greatest accomplishments are being a wife to Christopher James Shivar, and raising her three wonderful children Brea, Ndya, and Jaimes.

Equip individuals with special needs with necessary tools to become their best selves, while maximizing their strengths and understanding their limitations.
Educate parents and caregivers on relevant topics, to meet the unique needs of those in their care.
Empower individuals with special needs, their families, and the community as a whole, to spread awareness, and embrace acceptance of individuals of all ability levels.
To provide a comprehensive array of services to individuals with special needs, and their families. Services will support the overall social, emotional, and cognitive growth of individuals served. Services will be provided in a center setting, in the home and community
